Thanks again for the compliments. You are too sweet.
You weren’t too ramble-y. It helps that you keep these short, so even if you do ramble a bit, you keep it in check.
I definitely sympathize with finding time to exercise. It’s the hardest thing for me, but the thing that I think will make the most difference.
Exercise is super important for me to be successful with weight loss, because due to my age and current weight, I can’t cut much out of my calorie intake for the day.
I haven’t really talked about my goals for weight loss, but I have an interesting set of challanges.
My weight has started to creep up over the last 5 years, since college. I’ve gained 2-3 pounds a year, and that’s got to stop. I’m not yet considered overweight, but I’m getting on that raggedy edge. If I don’t stop this upward trend, I will be overweight in another couple of years.
So my overall goals are primarily fitness rather than weight loss, but I want to lose the weight I’ve gained so I know that I can do it, then maintain at that lower weight.
That is the one benefit you guys have over me–you can cut more calories if you choose to, and you can definitely burn more calories in exercise.
The benefit that I have over you is I am starting at a lower number. But both situations are challenging in their own ways.
Ah, free babysitting - always the best time to take a date with the wife. Have a good time, Tony.
I can’t say that I’m making much progress here lately, but thanks to you I’m not giving up.
